Don't buy aftermarket pumps
I bought an aftermarket pump last year and it lasted one season, it sprung a major leak while I started my engine to test something. Thank goodness, it didn't happen while I was out on the water. Only buy original OEM VP pumps. Also only buy from reputable place like Cecil Marine to ensure you are getting what you pay for. There are other marine parts places out there that claim you are getting OEM parts, but you are only paying OEM prices. Stick with Cecil Marine
