4.3 Penta GXi-P Starter
Exact replacement for my 2011 Regal 2100 with a Volvo Penta 4.3Gxi-P and happy to say the boat fired right up after the starter replacement. Included starter motor and solenoid. Did not include nuts on electrical studs or the mounting bolts, so make sure you save those from your old starter.

Had an aftermarket starter in my boat (which I do not use a great deal) that cratered after two years of light use, went back to the OEM starter. The original OEM starter lasted 14 years and I burned it out due to overuse when the ECU malfunctioned.

After shopping I found I could of purchased an after market starter much cheaper. The review on those were good online but several people updated after a year saying it failed. As this is not a job I would like to do again I thought I’d start with a OEM starter. Fast shipping and after several hours my boat is running again.
