This gage is an awesome replacement for the original gage. I have a 2001 vintage Chaparral. The gage attachment ring (behind the dash) was a little took big to fit the original cut out. I used a dremel tool and vacuum cleaner to make the hole a little bigger. Was easy to do, but would be difficult without some type of tool like a dremel. Very pleased with the product.
